MLB's Opening day 2005 takes place in New York this sunday as the Defending AL East champs host the Defending World Champion Boston Red Sox.Randy Johnson will face former yankee David Wells. The sunday night opening game is the showcase of MLB's opening week.

A fun conversation about steriods
I think this conversation sums up the general public's irrational feelings on steriods.

End this Witchhunt
I loved maguires reaction today. he stood definatly during this withchunt and refused to answer questions he felt were innapropriate. Who care what suppliments he used? Andro was not illegal, so who cares what legal suppliments he used?
This is a waste of the senates time and thus a waste of tax payers money. Baseball is not governmanet controlled. What is next, we are going ot go to bat against hollywood's abuse of coke?
This is bogus, and I am not happy about it.
Bruschi facing heart surgery

In an interview Tuesday on the NFL Network show "Total Access," fellow linebacker Willie McGinest said Bruschi needs treatment for a hole in his heart. The Boston Globe and Boston TV station WCVB also reported that Bruschi has the defect.

The Patriots have not discussed Bruschi's medical status, referring all inquiries to his family. Bruschi's family has yet to comment publicly. When contacted by the Globe, a spokeswoman for Mass General referred all questions to the Patriots.
Lets all hope Tedy returns to good health, on a personal level first and foremost (for Tedy Jr. and Rex, his sons and Heidi, his wife) and secondarily (and least important) on a football level.
