Pictures of Players

If you read the inside track You would have read an article about a website that contains many pictures of players doing questionable things. This includes Manny giving out dance lessons, and Keith Foulke and Todd Walker bringing ladies back to his hotel.

I am here to give you the location of this site:

52 extra seconds

ok so the game clock was improperly reset in the Pats/Steelers game. We should all acknowledge that this did not effect the outcome of the game as the extra time was added at the beginning of the 4th quarter and both teams dealt with it multiple times. If the Steelers needed all 4 downs to score the tying touchdown do you think steelers fans would be complaining about the extra time? doubtful. Perhaps, if the Steelers D could have stepped it up a notch, the pats would have been unable to march down field into field goal range.

Bottom line, there can't be complaining about this extra time because it happened so early in the game. its not liek the clock jump from 30 seconds to 82 seconds. That would have been HUGE. This is not.

Where all the white women at?

Derek Jeter as been receiving hate mail. What makes this hate mail so different is that it is NOT from a Red Sox fan. It is from a crazy guy who threatens that jeter will be "shot or set on fire" if he continues to date white women. Apprently, since Jeter is half-black (black dad, white mother), he is only allowed to date the Halle Berry's of the world. Does this make Mariah ok too? Can we get confirmation? And lets be honest, he can date playmates of any race because they are already dead on the inside.

Pats 2-1

With a win over Pittsburgh (23-20) The Pats move to 2 wins and 1 loss. The loss also ended Pittsburghs regular season winning streak at 16 (the record held by these patriots is 18). Rodney Harrison and Matt Light left with injuries. No real word yet on these injuries. Rodney's looked horrific in replays. His knee took a shot. Time will tell if he will be able to return and when.

This game was still pretty sloppy by the Patriots. More penalty problems and other defensive miscues. Looked like Brady was back to his usual self as most passes were on target, as opposed to a week ago when passes were sailing high and wide on him.

Pats now 1-1

Pats lost to Carolina 27-17. However last time they started 1-1 (2003) they won the super bowl!!

So its not all bad. The Pats just got crushed by dropped passes and penalties(12 for 86 yards). Credit Carolina for playing tough defense. The home field advantage really helped them out in this game (many false starts by the patriots, and all around communication problems).

Read This Now

This is one of the funniest things I have ever heard ... Now in print!
... Pete and I put on our matching suit jackets and barefooted and pant-less I hop into Helton's car as he brings us to Quincy Adams...

Hit My Music

Q: Does anything about this Tedy Bruschi-on-the-sidelines routine smell funny? Doesn't this seem like a WWE-style ploy by Belichick? What if we get to the first round of the playoffs, with the Pats on the road, and they need a lift? Wouldn't the triumphant return of Bruschi be the spark they need to get the three-peat? Couldn't the Pats hire Jim Ross for the night, just to have a "Good God, that's Tedy Bruschi's music!" moment?
-- Bart Shirley, Dallas

SG: Loved the idea, but I think you screwed up the timeline. Bruschi is eligible to be activated after Week Six. Realistically, he could scrimmage in all the closed practices without anyone knowing, and then emerge from the tunnel during that Week 9 game against the Colts at Foxboro, which, in my opinion, would be the single most exciting moment in Patriots history if it happened -- even better than both Super Bowl kicks -- as well as football's first Willis Reed moment. The Colts would be finished. D-U-N done. I'm getting the chills just thinking about it.

Mr. Cheney

I saw this clip on the Daily Show last night. Its funny. He talks for a bit and then a shout in the distance. I like the manners on the shouter. Calls him Mr. Cheney, lol.

George Bush doesn't care about black people

This is definatly HILARIOUS. The "uhhhh" look on both Mike Myers AND Chris Tucker is priceless. First you hear Kayne ramble. I still have no idea what he said. Then Mike Myers says his part and then Kayne just shoots out: "George Bush doesn't care about black people".

you have to check it out: http://media.putfile.com/Kanye79

In case you were doubting that the people down there are black, Wolf Blitzer settles it for you: http://media.putfile.com/2005-09-01-CNNTSRBlitzer

So poor ... So Black ...

PATS 1-0

In non-shocking news, the Pats beat the Raiders 30-20. So it wasn't 31-18 like I said it would be. For reference though, the Pats did have an XP blocked so that would've put me dead on for their half of the score!

Oh ya, its the Pats Super Bowl to win ... again.

Pats open on Thursday night

In Primetime against the Raiders!

Espn's power ranking has the two time defending champion Pats as #1. Colts as #2, so we shall see. This game can't be as highly anticipated as the Pats/Colts rematch that opened the season last year. It still should be entertaining, especially when Rodney gets a few pops in on Randy. Still, should be a fairly easy W for the pats. I'll go 31-18.

Two extremes of Boston Sports

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2149397
http://celtics.bostonherald.com/celtics/view.bg?articleid=100724

Can you tell which team is the 2 time defending champs and which is jsut another team?

Character counts. Its crazy that Tedy is thinking about a comeback. What more does this man have to prove in the NFL? He could just go out on top, but thats not tedy's style I guess.

Oh ya, Tony Allen apparently, is a thug.
