'be funnier' that is my inspiration. That and of course the Mr. Blackwell type list form espn.com:
http://espn.go.com/page2/s/shanoff/030627.html

And here we go ....

Hi Lebron, This is Puff Daddy's closet calling.

Is anyone else tremendously worried that the one major flaw in LeBron's game is his mother?? Mrs. Iverson on steriods. I worry for the boy.

Zaire Wade? Allegedly he was cute in that little suit but Zaire?? Well I was gonna name my son Canada Martin but I guess that is cliche now.

Am I the only one who thinks that these draft athlete should not be wearing suits with that many buttons? As If a 7-footers torso wasn't going to look obscenely long as it was, lets emphasize it. I am sick of that fad as it is. What is worng with the classic 2 buttons? Barbosa had a better looking suit in my opinion.

They mention in the article about the hats. I was wondering about them as well. I know the kids these days liek all the weird 'retro' hats (i.e the mesh ones) but what were the hats?? I dunno even what to say about them.

Ahhh athletes. Sure there might not have been such memorable events like Karl Malone's outfit, or Jalen Rose's this year so lets stop being such a girl and forget about the athletes clothes for the rest of the year .... unles they are female .... (must get jennie finch picture up).

Here is a nice little draft diary by the (formerly Boston) Sports Guy on espn.com:
http://espn.go.com/page2/s/simmons/030627.html

4:36 -- Quote from Mike Tirico: "There (LeBron) is with his Mom, Gloria. Gloria sacrificed a lot. Gave birth to LeBron when she was 16 ... on their own at 19, living on assistance, food stamps, and now here they are ... it's a great American story."

(What about parents who stayed together, worked hard, provided for their children and put them through school? Since when did not practicing birth control and lucking out because of DNA become a "sacrifice"? I'm confused. Let's just move on.)

one thing i noticed in the draft that was left out of this diary was the interview with Chris Bosh's(i think) parents. The father is a funny man. When asked a question about raising Chris he responded with (paraphrasing now, cause i am too stupid to remember it) "and all the whipping ... uh ... he he". Totally kidding around but funny nonetheless. Hope that quote never gets taken out of context. Maybe it was on outside the lines. Who knows. I was up waaaaay to late last night. Damn new Air Conditioner had me feeling good while watching tv (out of the 90+ dgree heat).

So today I decided I too needed a 'blog' presence on the internet. I have waaaaay to much to offer this world not to. You all hae Ben Buley to blame since he encouraged this behavior.

Since i am not a very opinionated person I will need to generate some to share with my blog. I think I should almost handle this in a diary fashion and start off every note with "dear blog, "

I am curious to see how long I will actually keep up with this.
