Celtics to name Doc Rivers as Coach on thursday

Whoopdee damn doo. Not sure if I even like the guy. I would rather have kept it in the family (i.e. The Chief, or DJ, to name a few). Not that it matters. Basketball in Boston, is dead now, for at least a few years. At best they are a 3rd team in Boston behind the Sox and World Champion Patriots.

Beginning to smell profitability ...

Today was earnings day at Openwave.
OPWV said on Wednesday its quarterly loss narrowed as phone companies worldwide stepped up purchases of its mobile Internet software, and it predicted it could turn a profit by June.

Good news for everyone, especially me!!

I just read the sports guy

Here are some of the exerpts that tickled me:

  • Chris Mortensen reports that Eli turned against San Diego after seeing the Real World episode where Frankie was cutting herself.

  • Archie should pull a Namath to win over the crowd, just lean over to Suzy and say, "We hope they trade the pick, but I just ... I want to kiss you."

  • And if not, I guess I'll just have to deal with 80° weather and hot chicks.

  • 12:55 The Giants take Philip Rivers. Damn. I was hoping he'd fall to Miami, change his name to Philip Michael Rivers and start wearing linen suits. "I saw a lot of Bernie Kosar in Rivers," Kiper tells us. Is that a compliment? That's like saying, "I see a lot of Ian Ziering in the guy who plays Luke on The OC."

    23 points ...

As I led my team to victory. 2 and 6 points respectivily were scored by two of my teamates. The fourth had 20+ as well.

    The Rich get Richer ...

Defending Super Bowl champs The Patriots aquire Corey Dillon from Cincy for a measly second rounder. The Pats were able to aquire their starting running back for next year, while still keeping their two first round picks. This is a great move, that still allows them to get younger since they still have their own second rounder, and they remain with their own pick (#32) in each of the seven rounds as well as the #21 in the first round, and the #17 in the fourth round.

    The closet, Stay or go

Do i keep this space and use it as a closet? Or eliminate it all together? Tough call.
I think I am leaning to getting rid of it and just not worrying about it until after I decide on how the bar is going to come in.

    The network center

I did make room for the rack mounted ethernet hub in this shelf the old owner left behind. It will be the base of operations for my network

    The basement closet

To add a little bit more room, I am removing a closet in the basement before I lay the rug.
Older pictures are in the tour somewhere. Here is my 'progress'

    Stair demolition

My attempt to get a bit more room for a queen size box spring to fit up my stairs

We ended up buying a split box spring.

    Remember the rain?

I think i head 3+ inches of rain fell during this storm. There was some leaking into my basement. nothing too bad, and not any that would have reached the soon-to-be-laid rug.

    The worst one:

    Not as bad:
