"artificial" natural light

http://news.com.com/Let there be light, optical cables included/2100-11395_3-6110671.html?tag=nl

Essentially it is natural light pumped through fiberoptic cable (with ultra violet filtered out to reduce heat) to help replace flourescent lights. This helps cut down on energy use, which helps out the company (save on energy bills) but also they whole country as we need to continue to reduce our energy costs.

This is just another Green technology that is making some headway to commercial success. Also check out the air conditioning unit that uses cooler night air to freeze water to use for cooling during the day time.

stop worrying about terrorism

The article because other people write better than I do: http://www.schneier.com/blog/archives/2006/08/what_the_terror.html

The real targets of terrorism are the rest of us: the billions of us who are not killed but are terrorized because of the killing. The real point of terrorism is not the act itself, but our reaction to the act.

Go ahead, be gone with it

random thought form the car ride in today ...

If sexy is back, as J-Timberlake is claiming, doesn't that imply that sexy once left?

If this is true. How did we, as a society, let sexy leave? Is it worse that apparently noone noticed?

Shout out!

A quick Shout out for Steve O'Neill's birthday!!

I am tired of mofo snakes in this mofo theatre

GOOD DAY FOR: Life imitating art, as someone released two diamondback rattlesnakes at an Arizona movie theater during a showing of "Snakes on a Plane." No one was hurt. The venomous snakes were captured and released in the desert. (Reuters)

A 'superstar' gets the boot

Viacom (VIA) has dumped movie star Tom Cruise over his off-screen behavior. Cruise has made a string of blockbusters in 14 years with Viacom's Paramount Pictures, and is still one of Hollywood's most powerful stars. But his antics -- which included promoting Scientology and bouncing on talk-show host Oprah Winfrey's couch to celebrate his love for actress Katie Holmes -- have turned off fans. "His recent conduct has been unacceptable," Viacom chief Sumner Redstone told The Wall Street Journal. (New York Post, free registration required) Cruise's representatives said he quit after lining up financing to make his own movies. (The New York Times, free registration required)

Shocking that somone would find him crazy. I am sure it has nothing to do with his "religion", which I am still convinced is a ruse hollywood is playing on hte common man because it is so stupid.

redsox mastercard commercial

Since I am on a redsox tear, remember this:

.

Denis Leary again: "That does sound like something I would say"

Funniest inning of RedSox I have EVER heard

Denis Leary and Lenny Clarke helping out during the red sox broadcast last night.

I don't have to say anything else, just listen to the entire thing.

Oh ya, listen and look at Remy during all of this.
