Patriots Day/Marathon Monday Game

We had fun watching the sox's 12-7 drubbing of Toronto. The game was really over after the 3rd inning.

We had a quasi-celebrity sighting though. a few rows behind us was David from real world seattle. You know he was the one who cried and stuff after dating the chick that worked for MTV. Anyway here is the photo my cell phone snapped of him.

ROID RAGE

Gary Sheffield shows off his roid rage. Debate is still going on about the intent of the fan. Only 1 camera angle is available thus we can not confirm Sheffield's allegation that the fan actually did hit him.


Either way Sheffield was wrong to strike the fan. He did show restraint in not popping the guy. It looked like he was going to, he had his hand cocked back.

7th inning stretch at yankee stadium

I think its time they stopped doing the stupid god bless america during the 7th inning stretch. It has never made sense why they had to do it then.

do it before the game or after or something. Its only making the games longer which is something I thought MLB was trying to cut down.

A little more baseball talk ...

To get you pumped up for the season.

You know how the most popular comeback for Yankee's fans is currently "25 more until you catch us"? Well It shouldnt be. According to MLB.com
The Sox win in 2004 boosted them out of a tie and into sole possesion on 3rd place all time with 6 world series titles (behind NY with 26 and st louis with 9). Now this means, only 20 more to go until we reach the yankees. It might seem minor to you but It just goes to show that yankees fans are uncreative. Now that they dont have the 1918 and ruth comments, they don't know what to do with themselves.
