Running out of Hurricane names ...
http://www.livescience.com/forcesofnature/051010_hurricane_names.html
Apparently only 21 letters of the alphabet are used. They omit Q, U, X, Y and Z. This is probably not the smartest strategy. Now they will have to give the storms names of the greek alphabet. Where is the sex appeal in Hurrican Gamma? I'd be much more afraid of Hurricane Xavier, or Hurrican Qyntel.
There are some names that can be used. It becomes a problem if they naem gets 'retired' due to the storm becoming huge and memorable. Hurricane names are re-used every six years, except for those of major storms that have been retired. Here is a list of the names for 2005:http://www.livescience.com/forcesofnature/hurricane_guide.html#names
