Millar accepts loss of his everyday job

Well that is nice ... since he blows. Seriously though, he should have lost that job a long time ago. He just has no bat anymore.

Other Notes ...

Schilling is on his way back to the rotation. This is good since he sucked as a closer. Not his fault really. He jsut doesnt have his great stuff and with a closer you cant give up 3 runs in 1 inning. As a starter you have 1 bad inning you have 4+ others to shut out the team and make up for it. He should do fairly well in the rotation (I hope). He just needs to get 5+ innings of quality pitching a start. That will help the team tremendously.

Also in light of Curt heading to the rotation, it appears the sox are NOT ready to bring Hansen up ... yet. There is speculation he will be up before Aug 31 to be playoff eligible though.

Nixon is swinging the bat well in Pawtucket and is expected to come back up shortly.

What is happening with Youkilis? The kid should be in the majors. He will have a good september as he will get time at 1b and 3b for Mueller and Olerud.
