Sox are on a roll

The sox were asked to show what they had against good teams. Apparently beating up on the lowly (but improved) Tigers was not enough for some critics. The critics said, show us against the Angels, Rangers and A's. Well, with 1 game remaining against the A's (and we could only through our ace at them) the sox are 7-1 in this stretch, including a sweep of the Angels. Needless to say, the Sox are winning ball games any which way they can.

Of course you have to believe this is all out of spite, as the Patriots begin their season tommorow. The Red Sox should only have one goal: Keep things interesting until Patriots season. This year, however, they decided to be a boring team all summer, and just when we are getting pumped up for football, they turn it on. Not cool Red Sox, not cool. However, winning a world series and a super bowl in the same year, would be FABULOUS. Its in the Sox's hands. If they win the Series this year, AND the pats win another Super Bowl, this place might just get used to winning.
