two baseball notes ...

apparently there was still baseball being played after the sox were bounced out. Sadly the beloved Yankees, baseballs little engines that could, struggled against an over priced Marlins team that bought this world series by offering the ungodly amount of $10 million to ONE player, pudge Rodriguez last winter. It is this 'free agency' abuse that will ruin america's favorite pastime in the future.

Grady little is fired. Whoever is surprised by this news please slap yoruself in the face as it has been obvious since June that this was his finally year, even if he won the world series, cured cancer AND aids, and found Whitey Bulger.

btw - Congrads Marlins, now see if you can lose less than 100 games next year.
